AtomicMind Foundation Scholarship

In a perfect world, the extra help and support AtomicMind offers students would be available to all. In the service of advancing this future, we have created the AtomicMind Foundation, which provides guidance and counseling pro bono or through partial or full scholarships to students who would not otherwise be able to afford our services. Our Foundation works with students through outreach, local schools, and by nomination to ensure that ambitious and hardworking students receive comprehensive, outstanding support throughout their educational journey.

We accept applications year-round from rising and current high school freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. We are looking for exceptional students from families facing financial hardship. Successful candidates will be chosen based on their transcripts, application, and interview. Minimum eligibility requirements include:

  1. A GPA of at least a 3.7/4.0 or a ranking at the top 15% of one’s graduating class
  2. An annual household income of no more than $85,000 USD
  3.  US residency

Application Process

Once you’ve filled out part one of the application, and your eligibility has been confirmed, you will be offered the opportunity to submit part two of the application, in which we ask for the following:

  • Specifics regarding your academic interests (including intended major), college goals, and extracurricular activities
  • Documents related to household income (please have access to previous years’ tax returns and/or other financial documents demonstrating scholarship needs)
  • A 250 to 500-word essay in response to one of a selection of prompts
  • A 2 to 3-minute video introducing yourself to the AtomicMind Scholar Foundation Program Committee
  • A recommendation from a teacher or advisor at your school
  • Transcripts from the past 3 years of schooling and available standardized test score reports (SAT, ACT, IB, AP, or TOEFL)
