Atomic Mind 11th Graders November Highlights
As the holidays approach, it's a great time for 11th graders to reflect on their first semester's progress and plan for the year ahead.
In particular, many juniors have taken or will take the SAT or ACT. As the exam results are released, it's crucial for students to assess these scores to prepare for the path ahead.
Understanding the College Entrance Exams
A student's performance on the SAT or ACT will reflect their understanding of the material covered and their level of comfort with the test format. Their results can help students identify their current strengths and weaknesses, allowing them to create a targeted study plan for score improvement.
As students prepare for their chosen college entrance exam, we recommend creating a study schedule and scheduling regular meetings with an SAT/ACT tutor. Consistent effort over time will build mastery and confidence. Additionally, students will become increasingly familiar with the test format, allowing them to better assess questions on the day of their exam.
If students are applying to Ivy League schools, they should aim to score at least 1550 on their SAT or 35 on their ACT. To help your student secure their desired score, please reach out to AtomicMind to be connected with an experienced tutor, ready to help your student create and stick to a study schedule.
