Congratulations to all students who submitted their Early Decision and Early Application applications. This is a monumental achievement for 12th graders - and a huge step toward their futures. We're so proud of all their hard work!

Now that students have submitted the last of their early applications, it's time to continue preparing for the Regular Decisions admissions round. We've put together an up-to-date timeline for students prior to submitting their RD applications.

Upcoming Deadlines:

  • Finish UC PIQs: The next major application deadline is for University of California. If you're planning to apply to UC Berkeley or UCSB, your application will be due on November 30th. The remainder of the UC applications will be due on December 2nd. All four Personal Insight Questions (PIQs) should be reviewed and finalized as soon as possible. Please contact your student's Head Advisor for support.
  • Identify ED2: Well before ED1 decisions are released, students should work with their Head Advisor to identify an ED2 school. Similar to the first Early Decision round, your student's ED2 application will be binding, meaning that if they're accepted, they will be expected to enroll. Your student's Head Advisor is best positioned to support you and your student as you decide on your ED2 school.
  • Work on RD Supplements: This month is crucial for students preparing to submit RD applications. Students should meet with their Head Advisor and Writing Specialist to create a plan to complete all RD supplements prior to AtomicMind's internal deadline of December 5th.
  • Submit: After receiving final edits, your student will be able to submit the remainder of their RD schools. After final submission, students will hopefully be able to get some well-deserved rest as they await the remainder of their decisions.

This is the final push! Our team at AtomicMind is here to support your students as they finish up their college admissions process. Please reach out to us for additional support and guidance during this crucial time!
