Known for their academic excellence, distinguished faculty, and highly selective admissions process, the Ivy League universities are among the most prestigious and highly sought-after institutions of higher learning in the world. It is no wonder, then, that these eight colleges—Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, and Yale University—have particularly low acceptance rates.
